“Best Brodstock ever!”
Thank you to everyone that joined us for our eighth party on the hill
We had such a good time on Saturday 18th June. Gates opened at 11.30am and over 10 hours of fabulous live music followed. The bouncy castles bounced, the revelers reveled and our rocking musicians rocked. Families and friends came together and the vibe was warm and fuzzy.
And as for our charities? Well they did pretty well too. Our main charity partners Overgate Hospice raised £11,970 and Calderdale MS Group cleared over £4500. The Big Brodstock Community Raffle raised over £10,000 and lots of other causes benefited including AndysManClub, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, #BeMoreMandy, Lightcliffe Scouts….. just to name a few. Doing good and having a great party at the same time.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our event partners who helped enable our people to raise so much:
Blackshaw Holdings Ltd – Caravan Guard – Eastwood Insurance Brokers – Expect Distribution – Leo Group – Reloc8 Estate Agents – Sandal BMW – Yorkshire Payments

Looking back at Brodstock 2021
Restrictions were finally lifted and a crowd of 6000+ celebrated freedom, friendship and family as we put the previous 18 months behind.
Thank you to everyone that joined us in Hipperholme on Saturday 7th August for our biggest and wettest Brodstock so far. Our charities raised over £30,000 on the day which truly is a beautiful thing.
Here’s last year’s festival in numbers….
1 HOUR time it took for the event to sell out once tickets went on general sale. 6000 people at the festival. 158 volunteers who put the day on. 79 musicians who performed. 4 stages. £10,000 donated to Overgate Hospice. £10,000 raised and up for grabs for schools to spend on music equipment/instruments. £2500 amount donated to the MS Society. £5,800 money raised through the Big Community Raffle. £600 raised for Lightcliffe Scouts from their Crockery Smash Stall. £721.50 raised by Focus4Hope
This means that Brodstock has raised £130,000 for good causes since we began in 2014. We’re completely not-for-profit, run by volunteers, with all money raised going to local causes and community grassroots sport.
We’d like to big-up our sponsors and event partners whose support is so vital in taking the festival forward and all the wonderful musicians who put themselves forward to play for no fee.
