Main Stage 1:00pm 🔥 Revo Street Band 🔥

Recently formed in June 2023; the Revo Street Band are a high energy outfit and slightly different to the norm!! Trumpets to drums to saxes to bass guitar, playing rock and pop 🎷

RSB originates from a local Scouts band and they have quite a wide age range, with the youngest band member being 15. They’ll all be rolling down the hill from Queensbury and we very much look forward to welcoming them all to our Hipperholme festival site!

Main Stage 2:00pm 🔥 Bea Badilla 🔥

At 2:00pm our Main Stage will be shining bright with the fabulously talented Bea Badilla.

A dynamic funk and pop sensation; Bea is a 20-year-old Filipino singer-songwriter-guitarist from Halifax and a former Brighouse High student.

With influences such as Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder and Tina Turner, she brings a blend of soul, pop and disco.

Currently studying in Liverpool has given Bea experiences from performing intimate open mic session to playing at the Mountford Hall concert hall.

Her voice speaks to the soul of her listeners and leaves an indelible mark on every audience member.

Her dynamic stage presence, coupled with the infectious energy of her band, creates an atmosphere of pure celebration, certain to get the crowd dancing!

Main Stage 3:00pm 🔥The Slates🔥

Four local lads with a bright future will be lighting up the Main Stage on Saturday 22nd June

Indie-rock band The Slates is four mates from Mirfield who are passionate about their song writing and eagerness to get a crowd bouncing with their floor filling anthems.

This young band formed in the summer of 2019 with front man and rhythm guitarist Louis Barnes, lead guitarist Joe Briggs, bassist Jude Wales and drummer Zak Oldroyd.

They have since played up and down the country at iconic festivals such as Isle of Wight and YNot, and various big venues such as the O2 academy in Leeds & Manchester whist supporting acts like indie legends Embrace and SPACE.

In January the band headlined a sold-out Key Club in Leeds and this month the lads set out on their first UK headline tour playing in Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Sheffield, and London promoting their recently released new single ‘Come Out & Play’ which has had rave industry reviews and national coverage, and airplay on Radio X.

With a growing fanbase including over 150,000 streams of their music on SPOTIFY and other major streaming platforms, be sure not to miss them on our main stage at 3pm

Main Stage 4:00pm 🔥 Age Against the Machine 🔥

By popular demand… returning to our Main Stage on Saturday 22nd June 2024…. it’s Age Against The Machine 🎸 🎤 🎸 🥁 🎸

With band members based just up the road from the festival site, and others from beyond the border into Bratford; here we have a five piece covers band that play great music at venues all around Yorkshire.

Their aim is simple; to entertain with music that is well-known and fun.

They are Chris and Ben on guitars, Simon on bass, Kurt on drums and Wally on vocals.

Main Stage 5:25pm 🔥 Displaced 🔥

Hitting the Main Stage at 5:25pm is Displaced – a young female fronted, local rock trio who hail from Halifax & Huddersfield.

Playing a range of songs from Led Zeppelin to Fleetwood Mac, The Police to Queen we have Georgina (Singer/Bassist), Aidan (Drummer) and Sam (Guitarist)

Main Stage 6:30pm 🔥 The Sequels 🔥

We’re delighted to announce that local lads The Sequels will be performing the Main Stage on Saturday 22nd June 🎸 🎹 🎤 🥁

They’ll bringing plenty of classic 80s synthesised anthems, plus some serious sing-a-long tunes from The Beatles, Queen, The Killers, Oasis & The Stone Roses.

Formed back in 2006; Mark, Mark, Gaz & Dan were part of an originals band named The Stolen when they created a local buzz playing shows throughout Yorkshire, Manchester and Liverpool, supporting The Pigeon Detectives on their 2008 Tour.

The band finished a few years later but reformed in 2018 as the covers band we now know and love 🥰

The Sequels is regularly found playing packed out venues in Northowram, Hipperholme, Brighouse, Sowerby Bridge and beyond!

They’ve always been massive supporters of the festival and previous performances, at our Afterparty and from the Main Stage, have gone down an absolute storm.

Main Stage 7:45pm 🔥 Bravado Cartel 🔥

Ready to rock our Main Stage at 8:00pm is Bravado Cartel

Hailing from Huddersfield, these gents have forged their unique blend of alt-rock to establish themselves as one of the best loved original acts in Yorkshire.

Their sound has been described as “High octane, thunderous drums, fresh funked-up synth, driven ‘lead’ bass lines and screaming, slightly menacing guitars all held together by linchpin lead singer Will Bloy’s distinctive message riddled lyrics”.

Over the years, as well as writing some chart-topping songs, they have been finalists for the UK’s ‘Live and Unsigned’ and have provided a rock single anthem for Huddersfield Town FC.

Bringing his commanding onstage presence, BC is led by frontman Will Bloy. Then there’s the Les Paul toting lead guitarist Jonny Green. Shayne Whitton, an “alcohol infused lunatic”, on drums. Latest member, Will Gould (aka The Professor) brings crunchy organs, pianos and quirky synth riffs. And last but not least, the bass messiah Joffa Armstrong.

Main Stage 9:00pm 🔥 Psychoslinkys 🔥

Psychoslinkys will be playing this year’s SUNSET SET and closing our Main Stage 🌅

Andy Armitage (vocals/bass) and Mick Brown (vocals/guitar) have now played together in bands for 35 years. Wayne Denny (vocals/drums) playing with them for close to 25 years.

They first played together in the band “Off the Top”, then in “Mr Mak”, “Daisycutter”, “Union Jack” and “Psychoslinkys”, playing in venues all over the UK, France and America.

Over the years playing a few support slots for Terrorvision, The Yardbirds, Smokie, Dave Berry as well as having their original music played on The Pulse, Rock’n’Roll Ranch Radio in the U.S, and Radio 1 when John Peel played tracks from Daisycutter’s album Perfect Landing.

The Slinky’s play good time music from the likes of The Beatles, Oasis, The Killers, Elvis, Queen, ABBA, Elton John, The Band, Crowded House, Led Zeppelin. A mixed bag, mainly classics that people love to hear.
